Why It Matters

When our founder moved to Boise in 2011, there was no space to learn or work on bikes. No tools, no shop, no community. Just isolation and internet forums. Today, thousands of riders in Idaho still face the same thing, no place to go, no one to learn from, and no shared space to belong. Boise Moto Community is here to change that with a D.I.Y. Community Motorcycle Shop and Coffee House.

BMC is a 501c (3) foundation

The Crew

  • Man resting inside a camping tent in a forested area, with motorcycles and camping gear

    Kenny Barrett

    FOUNDER | EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Kenny’s love for motorcycles started early and has only grown over the years. From dirt bikes to sport bikes, choppers, and everything in between, he’s spent a lifetime on two wheels. But more than riding, Kenny’s greatest passion is creating spaces where motorcycle enthusiasts can connect, wrench, and build community.

  • Man and woman smiling, holding drinks, standing outdoors at a gathering, under string lights in a wooded area with motorcycles

    Kellen Logan

    CO FOUNDER | OPERATIONS MANAGER

Kellen has been riding motorcycles for decades. His love really lies in the building and fabrication process. If you break it, he can fix it. Kellen is the business-brains and Operations Manager of BMC. He holds a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and Ministry.
